My Interview on the Greg Byrne Story
WOW!! I took a break from WCBI over Spring Break, so there have been no videos. And most people were gone somewhere, so it really wouldn’t have pertained to a whole lot of people! I went in to the studio this morning but am having some difficulty uploading the video.
Until that happens….
I was sitting in the Union Monday eating lunch and got asked to interview with Susan Parker of WTVA News in Tupelo. I quickly jumped at the opportunity…even though I wasn’t really dressed all that nice. Oh well, this isn’t Ole Miss–no one cares. Parker was a bit shocked at my response….

The picture below was taken by Jason Dunning, WCBI meteorologist and mentor, after the morning show. I was inside practicing, and by the time I got out to see this and get my own pictures, it was gone.
This was taken with an iPhone. If you don’t have one, you should get one!
Wet Week
Head on over to the comment page after you watch and let me know what you think of weatherwill.com!
This past weekend’s dry conditions have come to an end as clouds have begun to fill the skies and widespread rainfall could be found across North Mississippi and West Alabama this morning.
Most of this morning’s rainfall remained light to moderate, and we’ll see a break from the rain in most areas until this afternoon and evening. No severe weather is expected this evening, but we could still hear a few rumbles of thunder out of this second batch of rain.
We won’t be able to warm up as much as we did yesterday. By this afternoon, high temps look to stay in the low 60′s. Lows tonight will stay in the mid 50′s, though, which is fairly mild. Winds will be fairly strong today out of the south southeast bewteen 10-20 mph with some higher gusts possible during the afternoon and evening.
Tonight’s rain could linger into tomorrow morning, but with Wednesday, we have our eye on a rain and thunderstorm event later in the day. Some of those storms could be on the strong to severe side.
We’ll be slightly warmer tomorrow–in the mid to upper 60′s–and see temperatures reaching the lower 70′s come Thursday. Unfortunately, we won’t get to see those cobalt blue skies we saw Monday. Expect skies to remain mostly to partly cloudy for the rest of the week.
We won’t see a big cool down behind all of this rain, but high temperatures Friday through early next week will stay in mid to upper 50′s.
Have a great day! It’s great napping weather!
